Very often large contractors call in sub-contractors or hire casual labour off the street to assist them during busy periods. These temporary workers or sub-contractors are generally not covered by the contractor’s workmen’s compensation scheme which could leave the client liable if something were to happen. In addition, virtually all painting projects involve work at heights and therefore every employee on site needs to undertake an annual medical exam to certify that they are fit to perform construction work and to work at heights.
SUPERSEAL do not believe in leaving unskilled, inexperienced people to complete a job. All of our employees are trained and inducted prior to coming on site as well as being medically certified and registered for workmen’s compensation. SUPERSEAL will gladly supply medical certificates as well as a Letter of Good Standing to this end.
